Music Tuition and Consulting Services
Continuumusic offers tuition courses in bass, drums, guitar, vocal, brass & music theory as well as a consultancy service in audio engineering and artist services.
We work with a number of schools and community groups on the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore with recording projects, band conducting & workshops and the supply of instruments, audio equipment & services.
We have a select handful of dedicated teachers who enjoy getting results from their students in a relaxed yet productive environment.
Lessons are tailored to suit the individual needs of each student. We cater to all age groups from age 9 through to adult.
School student's can enroll on a term by term basis and our adult courses can be casual or regular to suit your timetable.
Continuumusic's studio environment gives students access to our facilities and the opportunity to gain additional experience.
We can also assist with instrument, amplifier and accessory purchases through our network of wholesale suppliers and our comprehensive repair department can service and maintain most instruments and electronic equipment.
Guitar Lessons
We teach guitar for all levels and ages. Beginners are taught technique, tuning and chord structure through to songwriting & performing as well as basic score & chart reading. Our courses are designed to get you up and playing quickly with a comprehensive understanding of the basics. For the advanced players, our tutors can take you to the next level in your playing with comprehensive theory and technique lessons aimed at getting you flying around the neck.

Bass Guitar Lessons
Learn the fundamentals of the electric bass with our beginners program. Topics covered include tuning, rhythm, score & chart reading. We can also assist with bass and amplifier packages at affordable prices. Intermediate students are taught alternate techniques, improvisation and music theory.
Cost: Casual lessons $35 per 30 minute lesson.
Drum Lessons
The secret to good drumming is a sound understanding of rudiments. The learning and perfecting of simple exercises gives any student a head start in mastering the art of drumming. Our courses are based around learning the right way for the first timer or fixing any bad habits you may have picked up. Whether beginner or professional, our tutors are capable of turning you into a drumming machine!

Vocal Lessons
Learn the joy of singing and the science of good vocal technique in this course
that concentrates on unleashing the singer inside. Correct pitching and
breathing problems, learn proper microphone technique and increase your range. Discover the path to connecting with your inner power. Learn the tricks of the masters. Be coached on all facets of performing.

Saxophone & Trombone Lessons
We teach baritone, tenor & alto saxophone and trombone for all ages and abilities. A careful balance of basic music theory along with correct technique will point any sax player in the right direction. Whether you're playing with a school band or a soloist in a professional band, we have a course to suit you.
Cost: Casual lessons $35 per 30 minute lesson or 10 lessons for $290.
Music Theory Lessons
Discover the wonder of this science and gain a better understanding about music in general in the process. We teach all levels of theory however we suggest that students under the age of 12 learn theory with an instrument.

Band Conducting and Consultancy
If your school or community band or orchestra requires a conductor, we have talented and motivated conductors/arrangers available for casual or regular sessions. We can also assist with ancillary activities such as live sound system installations or hire for performances as well as studio or live recording.

Audio Engineering
If you're looking to gain experience in the audio industry or want to learn how to set up or improve your own home recording studio, our audio engineering consultancy is an excellent way of learning valuable information. We tailor a course or single consultation to suit your individual requirements
and all lessons are conducted by working engineers in a working studio
environment or in your own studio or home recording space. Learn the art of sound recording from mic placement to mastering.
Cost: $80 per hour in our studio. Additional charges apply for out calls.
Artist Services - Pre Production and Consultancy
If you're a soloist, duo or band, we can assist your project with creative and constructive advice about your songs, arrangements, live performance and sound balance. We'll also offer you marketing suggestions, contact references and information about copyrighting and registering your material.
Cost: Price on application
